"Pastel and oils are the mediums used in my landscapes, which are inspired by historical locations and places with character. I am attracted to the light that projects the beautiful colors on the subject area. I consider my pastel landscapes to express realism with a sense of impressionism and my oils have more impact of depth and distance." - Annette Alessi
